BOB 2016 Revolution FLEX Duallie Stroller Review
Having two kids is a handful and a half. When my wife and I had our first child, we were already overwhelmed at first, but after a year we decided that we wanted to have a second so that our children would be of similar ages and could grow up together. We figured that since we were still in infant mode, we might as well continue and push through, rather than take a break and then come back to it later.
Now that our second baby is here, we are once again overwhelmed, but in a good way. While our house is a complete mess and there are diapers and toys everywhere, we feel like we made the right decision. To help us manage our two boys, we decided to get items that were meant for twins. Since they are so close together in age, doing things that way means that we don’t have to get separate stuff for each kid.
One of the best things we got was the BOB 2016 Revolution FLEX Duallie Stroller. What makes this particular model so great is that it can be adapted for children of different ages, meaning that it is perfect for our newborn and our almost two-year-old. If you’re in need of one of the best double jogging stroller 2016, check out what this amazing product has to offer.
Before we had kids, my wife and I loved to go outdoors all the time. Even after having our first kid we knew that we didn’t want to get too complacent and undo all the hard work we put into ourselves regarding getting and staying fit. That’s part of the reason that we got the FLEX. Unlike other strollers, this model is designed for faster speeds and rough terrain, which means that we can run and jog through the park as we always did, but now our kids can come along for the ride.
What makes it a jogging stroller is that it has three wheels instead of four. The front tire locks into place so that it won’t wobble as you move, which helps make sure that the ride is smooth. The tires themselves are also air-filled like a bicycle which means that they can take on harder terrain like grass or dirt with ease.
Finally, the best part of the FLEX is that it has a fully adjustable suspension system. That means that even if our boys are sleeping, they won’t be rudely awakened by a bump or a dip in the road. We can keep on jogging without any interruption.
Side by Side Design
When looking at double strollers, you can either get the seats side-by-side (twin) or front and back (tandem) like a train. We decided to go for the side-by-side design because it makes things so much easier. This way, we can attend to both of our children at the same time, and they can see everything in front of them without anything blocking their field of vision.
The only downside to having a side-by-side double stroller is that they are usually not as maneuverable and they might have problems fitting through narrow doorways. Fortunately, BOB has planned for this and given the FLEX a swiveling front wheel which makes it just as agile and nimble as a single model. Also, the width is not too much more than a single, meaning that it fits through most doors and hallways.
Comfortable and Customizable
Having two kids means that you have to accommodate both of them at the same time. Sometimes that is as easy as buying two of everything so that they have the same stuff, but other times they like to be independent and do things their own way. That is especially true because of the age difference.
Fortunately, the FLEX gives you the option to customize and adjust the stroller to meet your child’s needs, even if they differ from your second kid. For example, we can attach a car seat to one of the sides, meaning that we can carry our newborn alongside his brother without any issues.
Secondly, the seats recline independently of each other. That means that if our oldest wants to take a nap, he can simply kick back and enjoy his snooze without affecting the baby. Thirdly, the canopies are also fully adjustable, meaning that if the sun is too bright or it starts to rain we can keep both of the covered and secure.
Finally, you can go one step further and buy a snack tray attachment for each seat. That way your kids can work on their own food and drinks without having to share, which as any parent knows can be cause for trouble.
Two-Step Folding System
While having a stroller is essential to moving around town with babies and toddlers, if you get one that is too big and bulky it becomes more of a hassle than anything to take with you. Not only is it harder to put into the car, but it can be unwieldy to open and close when the time comes. For that reason, many people will pick umbrella strollers because they fold up so quickly and easily.
Thankfully, the FLEX lives up to its name and folds up compactly and without any hassle. In fact, there are only two steps that you have to take to go from fully opened to closed and stored in your trunk. The best part is that even though we have an attachment for the car seat installed, we don’t have to remove it to fold everything.
When you have two kids that are fussing (or sleeping), you want a stroller that can be a snap to close. The FLEX is that kind of product.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: How big is this stroller exactly? Will it fit through doorways?
A: According to the manufacturer, the stroller’s dimensions are 48 x 30.5 x 43 inches. It fits through almost all doorways and entrances.
Q: Does it come with a snack tray or cup holders?
A: Unfortunately, it does not. You have to buy them separately from the company.
Q: If I get an adapter for the car seat, can I still fold it?
A: Yes, it will fold if you get an approved adapter for the stroller.
Q: What is the difference between this model and the PRO?
A: This stroller does not have a hand brake. As far as I could tell, that is the only difference.
Q: Can I put two car seats on it at the same time?
A: Unfortunately, it can only hold one at a time. That is helpful if you have kids of different ages, but not if you have twin newborns.
Q: Do you have to assemble it when it arrives?
A: Yes, but it doesn’t take very long. All you have to do is install the tires. Everything else is one unit. If you get attachments, then you will have to add them as well.
Overall, if you want something reliable and durable for your children, then I would highly recommend the BOB 2016 Revolution FLEX Duallie Stroller. My only complaint is that you have to buy attachments separately, but other than that it is a solid winner in my book. I love the fact that we can attach a car seat for our newborn as well as the fact that we have the ability to adjust the seats independently.
Best of all, however, I like that this stroller allows me and my wife to continue to stay active, even with two little kids. A month after our latest was born my wife started walking again, and two months later she was back to her regular routine. Thanks to this stroller, we never skipped a beat.
